Cool Fat Cats - New Website Built on My MacBookAir

Cannot believe how much fun I am having with a laptop!
Am beginning to doubt my sanity or if I am developing a form of girlie-geek OCD!

It's just that working on a Mac as opposed to a PC is revolutionary!
Kyle did tell me that Macs worked on intuition and so expected me to find the process of learning much easier and quicker to understand.
Yes yet again #1 son is right.
In fact when it comes to matters IT Kyle is seldom wrong.

Take a sneaky peek here.

Hope you like :)

Less Red Tape and more pink knicker elastic...

The quotation "Less Red Tape and more pink knicker elastic..." according to Google should be attibuted to the Kiwis. Although yesterday the speaker at the 44th Annual Lunch of the Soroptimist Intl Newcastle and District gave the credit to the Girl Guides. So maybe they are both right the the Girl Guide Movement in New Zealand first used the expression that really captured my imagination.

I do believe if we had more common sense and practical application of simple economic principles then the country and the world for that matter, would not be in the state of financial crisis that it finds itself today.

The objects of Soroptimism and laudable and commendable. Why not read more at this site.

Power of Friendship

Have just returned from a highly enlightening and entertaining conference. It was the 9th annual convention of the Professional Speakers' Association and I had the pleasure and privilege to run a workshop entitled "Be a Hero!"

What amazes me about these events is how kind, helpful and thoughtful the delegates are - not to mention inspiring and motivational! I have come back with so many great ideas and links to potential clients and business associates that my desk is overflowing and my "To Do!" list is ever expanding!

One of the things I promised a delegate was to link her to this site. And Mindy Gibbins-Klein - here it is!

Mindy was instrumental in me publishing my book "Love your Life... Survive the System!" and I cannot thank her enough for the help and support she gave me.

I now the Past President of the Manchester/North West Chapter and leave the branch in the very capable hands of Elaine Hanzak. She will drive the branch forward with fresh ideas and enthusiasm and support PSA in our theme for our year of "Astronomical Aspirations!"

I am thrilled to have been asked to join the board and am delighted to be able to help.

If there is anything I can do to help you - just holler

IMU is Back!

13 months later and here I am back on IMU Blog.
Book is published! Sales are going rather well even tho' I say so myself. This is due in no small part to the efforts of my superb support system and business team... not to mention the public who are out there buying it!

So by popular demand, this Blog has been re-activated and you can look out for weekly postings and maybe more depending on my workload.

Saying that, off now to the Professional Speaker's Conference at the Forest of Arden Golf & Country Club. Looking forward to a fantastic weekend and speaking of course! It will be an enlightening and entertaining time for all. Did I say this was work?

Bon Weekend to you too!
