Less Red Tape and more pink knicker elastic...

The quotation "Less Red Tape and more pink knicker elastic..." according to Google should be attibuted to the Kiwis. Although yesterday the speaker at the 44th Annual Lunch of the Soroptimist Intl Newcastle and District gave the credit to the Girl Guides. So maybe they are both right the the Girl Guide Movement in New Zealand first used the expression that really captured my imagination.

I do believe if we had more common sense and practical application of simple economic principles then the country and the world for that matter, would not be in the state of financial crisis that it finds itself today.

The objects of Soroptimism and laudable and commendable. Why not read more at this site.

What a great website. The Soroptimists International is a wonderful organisation.
I defiantly agree a more practical application of economic principles would have saved us from the financial ruin we are facing today.
